Scribble
Last Hangers On
It takes diligence finding these little gems in a bleak, late fall landscape. But I'll trudge through mud, burrs or even thorn bushes to get to them. Decidedly unadventurous by nature, when I have a camera in my hand I suddenly turn into John Muir, though a bit less crazy daring.
One thing I won't do is sit on any ledges with sheer drop offs. That's when the zoom lens comes out, and if that won't get it, it just won't be gotten. Nothing can make me overcome my fear of heights, not even the last bit of brilliant red on a tree, or nature's scribbling. I'd have to take a pass on it, though sadly.
I don’t know what the first one is – I’ve seen something similar on Simply Heather’s Blog. It is presumably a climber but not one we have in the UK. It makes great photos.

SS, I’m not sure what it is, either. It was climbing up a tree, and I wonder if it blooms in spring or puts out leaves. Maybe if I go back in spring I can find out. If I can even locate it!
