Lobster Traps – Corea, Maine
These were adjacent to the wharf our rental house was on, close enough we could inspect them. The lobsterman these belonged to had unfortunately passed away a month or so ago, but a man I presume to be his son came out to check on the traps while we were there.
Not as picturesque as the wooden traps they used to use, but much more functional and sturdy I'm sure.
Yep, and the metal ones are easier to fish with too actually. They are lighter and easier to open and close, and warp less 🙂 Yeah, my parents fish lobsters, so I had the joy of helping out way too often!
