Putting Away Childish Things

Every once in a while my kids will swing on their old swing set, but for the most part it just sits there, quietly rusting away. I remember when my daughter used to hang upside-down on this bar, holding onto the two rings. Can't imagine her doing that anymore.

In a couple years we'll take it all down, when their younger cousins aren't interested in hanging out in it at our boys' birthday parties anymore. Because right now that's the only time it's really used for anything but the casual swing.

Just doesn't seem like it's been there for 14 years already.
