On the Wane

Getting a week and a half out of these tulips isn't so bad, though they certainly weren't cheap at $ 10 for the bunch. They're curling at the edges, but I still can't bring myself to toss them, not until the petals start falling off.

It's been so nice having a little bit of natural beauty inside the house to off-set all that snow outside. Before spring arrives I'm sure I'll go through another couple of bunches. They raise the mood just that little bit, and every little bit helps in late winter.
