Hydrangea Flower, Still Life
A reminder that in spring the hydrangea in back of our house will pop back to life, bushing out to at least four feet tall and wide. What started from a puny plant bought via mail order has become a colossus. It's of the white variety, but I understand with the addition of certain organic materials – such as coffee grounds – mixed in with the soil the color can be changed to either blue or pink. I haven't tried that before. Maybe this year.
