Showing Another Side of Me

This is my favorite scarf, and not just because I made it myself - though hand-crocheting your own scarf allows you to make it to your specifications. This one is extra long and extra wide (please don't take that out of context) and really, really warm. It also shows off my ability to approximate knitting's cables, which are so far beyond my abilities it's ridiculous.

And no, I don't knit. For one thing, it's so much harder and I have no patience. For another, while my handlers allow me use of a crochet hook – a blunt object -, they won't be giving me two long needles anytime soon.
