Fading Beauty
It's bitterly cold outside, below freezing. Almost all our plants have dropped their leaves. Either that or they're a droopy, sodden mess. The only straggling bit of beauty I could find were these two berries on one of our burning bushes. They're so brilliantly red against the unremitting brown of November. One last splash of color before the snow comes, tucking everything in safely under fluffy, white eiderdown for the long slumber - 'til spring comes to wake them again.
