Book Review

KockroachI posted a review of Tyler Knox’s outstanding new book Kockroach on my library system blog today.

This book, as they say, blew me away. It’s hard enough finding an original idea these days, much less a first novel that’s this original and fantastic on every level a book should be original and fantastic in order to be published in the first place.

Hey, there’s a thought, how ’bout having the  mega-publishers put more time and effort into publishing and promoting books like this? You know, stuff worth reading?

Did that sound bitter to you? Be frank. I can take it.

I give Kockroach my highest recommendation, no hesitation on this one. It’s smart and edgy, two things we don’t always get enough of in contemporary writing.
